Cold Mountain Loop Bicycle Ride

This 44.7-mile route, touting a strong-intermediate and above difficulty level, lets your legs warm up during the ride out of the Pigeon River Valley and past Lake Logan for a long, classic climb to stunning views from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Twelve miles on the Parkway will reveal some of the most beautiful lands of our region. Then, drop sharply from the Parkway onto US 276 to peddle through Cruso along the East Fork of the Pigeon for the final stretch of the ride.

Park at the Blue Demon Ball Park of the Bethel Middle School on Poindexter Rd / NC 215 on the north side of the field, bathrooms in building near walking track and bleachers.
