Sep 9 → Nov 2Go With the Flow: Art ExhibitHaywood Handmade Gallery's "Go with the Flow" exhibit celebrates the beauty, power, and importance of Haywood County’s waterways. In partnership with Haywood Waterways, this exhibition invites artists to create works inspired by rivers, streams, and other bodies of water—both literally and metaphorically. From flowing currents to reflections on life’s journeys, the show highlights how waterways inspire creativity while raising awareness of the need to protect and conserve our local watershed. Browse handcrafted wood carvings, metal work, and pottery to spruce up your living space, pamper yourself with botanical skincare and perfumes, and stock your pantry with locally grown produce, farm-fresh dairy, homemade jams, baked goods, and much more! Sep 11 → Sep 13Thunder in the Smokies Fall RallyJoin thousands of bikers as they roll into Haywood's Great Smoky Mountains for the busiest motorcycle weekend of the year! Cruise winding mountain roads on Blue Ridge Parkway tours and show off your ride during the judged Bike Show. Compete in the fun-loving Bike Games for cash prizes of up to $1000. Rock out at nightly concerts, shop bike vendors, and fellowship with an expansive rider community. This is the oldest and longest currently running rally in Western NC––come get into the rumbling tradition!

For four Fridays this summer, watch as various local talents showcase Haywood's Appalachian heritage through with live music and clogging. Food trucks will be on site to serve up tasty treats. Pack your lawn chair to come out and soak in the sounds of our neck of the woods! This event is free and for all ages.
Sep 12 → Dec 5Haywood Historic Farmers MarketHaywood’s Historic Farmers Market invites everyone to experience local flavors and crafts every Saturday, April through December, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. This producer-only market showcases a variety of products sourced from Haywood and nearby counties, including fresh produce, meats, fish, eggs, honey, dairy, flowers, nursery plants, baked goods, preserves, and heritage crafts. Leashed dogs are welcome. Come enjoy a top-notch community gathering to support local producers and stock up on the finest items Haywood has to offer!
