  • There’s no shortage of fun to be had on Lake Junaluska’s campus. Visitors can enjoy a round of golf at the Lake Junaluska Golf Course, rent kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards from Lake Junaluska Outfitters, or take a leisurely stroll along the scenic walking trail.

  • Yes, Lake Junaluska is open to the public. Everyone is invited to use the paved walking trail free of charge, or purchase passes to their public pool. Their on-site outfitters offer fun summer activities like kayaking and paddle-boarding, and the pickleball courts do not require a reservation.

  • Lake Junaluska is about 30 minutes west of Asheville. Being right off US-74, it’s easy to hop onto the highway for a day trip into the city.
