Elk & Embers

Listing Information
604 Ranch Boundary Dr, Waynesville, NC 28786
(828) 994-2222

Perched at 4,000 feet atop the serene peaks of Maggie Valley and Waynesville, Elk & Embers promises a mountain retreat far above the ordinary.

With sweeping vistas of the surrounding Great Smoky and Blue Ridge Mountains, this exclusive complex features six one-of-a-kind accommodations: two rustic-chic cabins; a modern, high-end treehouse unlike any other; and three ultra-luxurious “tents” outfitted with all the creature comforts one could ask for––including high-speed internet. Each accommodation includes a private deck for quiet, personal moments of rest & relaxation (or a secluded outdoor shower). Every stay includes a personal electric cart or UTV for exploring the grounds, along with catered breakfast and lunch daily.

And while Elk & Embers offers a host of modern amenities, the soul of the mountains is woven into each space: elements of centuries-old structures have been thoughtfully repurposed throughout the property, complemented by locally sourced décor and amenities.

Elk & Embers abuts the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a stone’s throw from nearby trails and a few hours hike to the iconic Cataloochee Valley.

Whether you’re planning an unforgettable wedding, a glamping trip with emphasis on the “glam,” or simply a peaceful getaway, Elk & Embers lifts upscale lodging to new heights.
