Live Music: Hill Country Band

For nearly five decades, Hill Country Band has been a staple of the bluegrass music scene throughout Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. With 49 years of performing experience, the band is known for its authentic sound, strong musicianship, and dedication to preserving the traditions of bluegrass music while entertaining audiences of all ages.

Over the years, Hill Country Band has performed at many of the region’s most beloved festivals and community events, including Shindig on the Green in Asheville, Pickin’ in the Park in Canton, the North Carolina State Fair, the Smoky Mountain Folk Festival, and Folkmoot USA. Their performances continue to delight audiences across Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee with a blend of traditional bluegrass favorites, timeless classics, and crowd-pleasing harmonies.
