Why Car Lovers Should Visit Maggie Valley

Why Car Lovers Should Visit Maggie Valley

Let us add a little fuel to your excitement for cars. If you are a big-time collector, an automobile aficionado, or are just looking to see some sweet rides, then Maggie Valley is a must-see. Each year thousands of people flock to Western NC for swap meets, car shows, and so much more. Get ready to mark your calendars for a wild ride of car events.

Southeastern Mini Truckin’ Nationals

This annual event will be celebrating its 27

th

year right here at the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds. Roll up to see mini trucks of all makes and models. They’ll also be giving out 50 trophies to some lucky winners.

Kustom Kemps of America “Icons of Hotrodding Festival”

A nationwide event open to hotrodder’s who enjoy the 1950’s style and swingin’ 60’s era of Americana. Race back in time to see hot-rod roadsters, pickups, “kustomized” cars, and so much more. You can also gear up for vendors, food, and musical entertainment.

WNC JeepFest

Get ready to be doing the Jeep Wave all day. Going on its 3

rd

year, the WNC JeepFest features both automotive and food vendors, guided rides, and so much more. Take a ride on trails unique to Western North Carolina.

Maggie Valley Swap Meet/Camaro & Firebird Show

The great news about this event is you can enjoy it a few times throughout the year in Maggie Valley. June, July, and September are the magic months to browse a wide array of street rods, muscle cars, classic rat rods, customs, pickups, and antiques.

Eurofest Maggie Valley

You won’t believe the collection of European cars that gather for this riveting event. This all-European automotive festival brings the Euro Community together to enjoy the town, friends, and scenic mountain drives. Sounds like a thrill to us!

VW’s in the Valley

You guessed it…another event that drives people in! This two-day all-VW car show and swap meet welcomes owners of all years and models of VWs. You won’t want to miss out!

Vairs In the Valley

Corvair lovers this one’s for you! Enjoy rows of Chevrolet Corvairs of all different years and looks. While this car event is niche in nature, you will be shocked at how many people collect these classic cars.

As you can see, here in Maggie Valley we have an appreciation for those who like to live life in the fast lane. We enjoy having people from places near and far gather here to share a common love for cars. While you visit, don’t forget to snap some pictures of your favorite rides and tag us with #MaggieValley or @VisitNCSmokies.
